This event has Gold Loopers sharing Story of Our Loop presentations. Thinking about Looping with your kids? Wondering if you can Loop in the boat you already have? Questions about pets aboard? We've seen it all and you can do it all ~ you just need to get connected to the right people. AGLCA is all about the connections. Our Looper Lifestyle Seminars are the best place to start.

The Looper Lifestyle seminar can help provide your partner with some of the information he or she needs to feel more comfortable considering a Great Loop adventure. These events are shorter and smaller, so your partner is less likely to feel overwhelmed and they will likely meet other members with similar concerns (or members who have overcome them!). Making connections with other members can make this adventure less daunting. It all begins here.

Spring Rendezvous 2025

This popular event, normally held from Monday-Thursday, is switching to a long-weekend (Friday-Monday) format this year!
"It would be easier for us to attend an event if it was on the weekend." We hear this a lot and this is your chance to join us for a weekend Rendezvous!
Our Rendezvous events were originally created specifically for in-progress Loopers. The events are split into two tracks running simultaneously (Route Track and the Looping 101 Track). The route track sessions cover the parts of the route you'll be cruising from one event location to another. (ex. the Spring Rendezvous will cover the northern portions of the route, beginning from the Chesapeake Bay, New York Harbor and canals, the Great Lakes, Canada, and the river system down to Orange Beach, Alabama, the site of the Fall Rendezvous).
But the Looping 101 Track makes the Rendezvous events perfect for planners too! If you would start your Loop today if it wasn’t for that darn job, the Rendezvous may be for you. You’ll find similar Looping 101 sessions to what's presented at a Looper Lifestyle event, but there will be more ~ weather, anchoring, locking, and how to plan your days on the water, just to name a few. The Looping 101 Sessions are a deeper dive than you will get at a Looper Lifestyle Seminar.
Sessions in both tracks are presented by Gold/Platinum Loopers as well as industry professionals, giving you access to the knowledge you need to plan or continue your own Loop.
You’ll also find a member favorite, Looper Crawls, at Rendezvous events. If you haven’t yet purchased your Loop boat, there is no better place to step aboard so many Loop-capable boats in one place ~ with their current crew aboard! Ask questions, have a look around, and see if one type of boat works better for you than another.
