Overall Event Times: The first seminar begins Monday, October 21st at 1:15 p.m., with registration beginning earlier that day. The Rendezvous will end with our final seminar wrapping up about 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24th. A safe boating class is being offered as an optional add-on course on Sunday, October 20th, beginning at noon, so if you plan to register for this course, you will need to arrive on Saturday, October 19th.
About Rogersville: Rogersville is a very rural community and its biggest attraction is Joe Wheeler. You will find some unique, local shops in its downtown area but very few restaurants. It has no box stores but you will find essentials at Rogersville Foodland and Dollar General, both within a few miles of Joe Wheeler.
Nearest Airport: Huntsville International (HSV) Airport is about 45 miles from Joe Wheeler State Park and Nashville International (BNA) is about 120 miles away, which may offer a better selection of cost-effective flights.
Event Emails: Please be sure to add [email protected] to your contact list or safe senders list in your email account. Your registration confirmation email, and other important emails leading up to the Rendezvous, will come from this address. We'd hate for you to miss something because our emails land in your spam folder.
Other Helpful Tips:
- This is a very rural setting and cell/wifi coverage will be spotty at best.
- Pets are not allowed in the Rendezvous meal/session spaces. Service animals are permitted.
- Meeting rooms are often chilly. Please consider dressing in layers.
- The dress for all parts of the Rendezvous, including dinners, is very casual.
