Welcome to AGLCA's Virtual Docktails where Loopers can connect on special interest topics! Each Zoom social breakout room will be hosted by a Gold Looper or a representative from AGLCA. The groups are intended to be interactive and fun!  For the October 30th virtual event, the breakout room topics are below.  Hosts for each room will be announced soon.  Note this Virtual Docktails is being held at a later time (7:00-8:30 PM EDT) than the previous Virtual Docktails.

Buying a Loop Boat
Finding the right boat for you is one of the most important decisions you'll make when planning for your Loop! Beyond making sure the boat is Loop-capable, the rest is largely dependent on your cruising plans, budget, and comfort level. 

This Virtual Docktails breakout room will provide a space for members to ask questions and share their boat buying experiences. We'd love to have a diverse group of boat owners and want-to-be boat owners so we can chat about a passion we all share: boats! 

Gold Loopers Still Cruising
Calling all Gold Loopers still cruising, this Virtual Docktails is for you! We love that so many of our members extend their cruising past their wake crossing. Are you spending time doing more side trips? Maybe you're living your best boat life at a favorite stop you visited on your Loop? Or possibly you're making your way around the Loop again?

Whatever adventure has kept you cruising, we can't wait to hear about it! This breakout room is sure to be a fun collection of Gold Loopers with great stories and also an excellent forum for a new member looking for experienced advice!

Ladies of the Loop
Ladies, please join us to connect with other women about the exciting times you've experienced preparing for or cruising the Loop! You never know what will come up in this group...restaurant recommendations, grocery shopping tips, where to get your nails done, how to help with boat maintenance...you name it, and the Ladies of the Loop have discussed it! 

If you're not sure you're ready to be a "Lady of the Loop", this group is also for you! It will be a great place to discuss any concerns and get some virtual support from those who've gone before you!

Whenever we offer this breakout session at an AGLCA event, it's always overflowing with conversation, questions and instant friendships! We're excited to offer it as a Virtual Docktails group this month.

Fleet of 2022 Reunion
Did you Loop during any part of 2022? If so, we'd love to have you join us for this Virtual reunion! 

This will be a great evening to reconnect, share a few stories and catch up with one another. You won't want to miss out!

Guests on Your Loop
What does it look like to invite family and friends aboard your boat for portions of the Loop? Whether it's a few days at one stop or a weeklong cruise to multiple ports, having guests aboard can be both fun and challenging.

You may have heard the well-shared Loop advice for guests: "You can pick where you visit. You can pick when you visit. But you can't pick both."  How do you navigate this? And what are some easy ways to help your guests feel more comfortable aboard your boat? Please be prepared for interactive discussion, sharing questions and best practices! 

During the registration process, you will inidicate which breakout room you plan to attend but you will also be able to move to another breakout room during the event if you choose to do so.  

Upon registering, you will receive the Zoom link for the virtual docktails but you will also be able to find it in "My Events", which can be found under "My Account" on the homepage menu bar of the AGLCA website when you are logged in.  Just click "View Booking" by the appropriate event to see the Zoom link.
