L’Attitude Adjustment is one of the last Monk 36’s made, and is in excellent condition. She has been on a multi year Great Loop adventure which will be coming to completion this spring. Proving to be the perfect ‘loop’ boat, this Monk has all the attributes to carry you safely and in comfort all around the Loop. Always in covered off-season storage in Florida, this boat has maintained a like-new appearance. Regular maintenance and many recent upgrades means this boat is turnkey and ready to go. The two cabin, two head layout means two couples can cruise in comfort and privacy. The salon table is able to convert for an extra one or two visitors.
This is a very traditional looking trawler and always gets positive comments wherever she goes. With 300 gal of fuel and a burn rate of 1.5 gph at 7mph this boat has a range of over 1000 miles including generator use. 120 gal of fresh water allows a couple to spend two weeks away from the dock if desired. Bow and stern thrusters make maneuvering in locks and marinas a breeze. Two stainless bow mounted anchors not only look good but are also easy to deploy in a variety of conditions. The primary is a 40 lb. Delta on 140 feet of chain and 175 feet of 5/8 nylon, secondary is a 35 lb. CQR on 120 feet of chain.
For safety underway, there are two recently replaced Garmin plotters, radar, class B AIS, auto pilot and an upper and lower helm station. Currently L’Attitude Adjustment is in covered in-the-water storage in Nashville looking to complete the Loop by the end of May. This boat would then be available and could be delivered to its new owners anywhere along the Gulf coast from New Orleans to Florida.
