Mainships are widely regarded as one of the most popular and economical boats for cruising America’s Great Loop. “Drift Away” recently completed the Great Loop in February 2025. Equipped with fuel-efficient Twin Diesel Yanmar 4LH-DTE engines, capable of producing 170 horsepower (3300 rpm) w/ 3,960 hours of service, “Drift Away” consumes approximately 2.5 gallons per hour around a 7 knot cruise. The Mainship’s dual engines and bow thruster facilitate seamless maneuvering in locks and when docking, while the spacious walkways and ample handholds contribute to enhanced safety.

Please note: This boat is offered at a competitive price point compared to similar Mainships on the market with these additional features, but with the potential for those additional features to be used or outdated.

Recently serviced: Yanmar engines oil & filters changes and Northern Lights generator oil & filter change, primary & secondary fuel filters, and impellers changed. Port & Starboard valves adjusted. Port & Starboard ZF transmission fluid & filter changes.
